People try and scare you away from the idea of marriage throughout life (well that's how it seemed to me), but the truth is marriage is super fun. Sure, it can be hard at times, but that is only if you give in to what society has told you--and watch too many chick flicks :) haha
Working in retail, you have a lot of people say stuff to you like "Don't rush it," or "I was married once." I think that is SO rude! It happened to me at least once every two weeks when I was engaged I think. I could be exaggerating, but it was definitely still a lot, and also very inappropriate. Why can't others just be positive and happy for others?
Anyway, My point is--Don't let others tell you how your life is going to be.
Moving on to a happier note- I love my husband so much and we have a blast together, and I actually think we get along better now that we do live together and see each other more. We have only been married for 1 and a half years, but we have been together for 6 years total! I could never get tired of seeing this face:
Here are a few things about me and what my blog is about:
- I love finding things for cheap or on clearance. I very rarely ever pay more than $10 for a shirt.
- I smile A LOT!
- I absolutely LOVE my adorable yellow lab puppy who is now 1 1/2 years old.
- DIY projects are a blast for me
- I love being in group settings
- I HATE being alone
- Food. Food. Food. I love food! I try to make healthy choices and eat healthy meals.
- Family time is very important to me.
